Q: What kind of system and digital camera do you use?

A: I'm currently using an Acer Aspire 5670 after using a DELL Inspiron 600m laptop I bought off of Ebay as I had to get rid of my original computer system to make room for Chloe, a laptop saves us space but still enables me to do what I need to. I used to use a Samsung Digimax A6, but have recently upgraded to a Lumix Panasonic DMC-FZ7.

Q: What hosting do you use?

A: baby-blossom.co.uk was purchased along with hosting from the wonderful streamlinenet.co.uk. I signed up for the unlimited user package with my old domain of luna-dreams.com in 2004, but am now on the home package and have had nothing to complain about with the hosting as yet, and hopefully never will do.

Q: How do you go about making your websites?

A: Firstly I design the websites layout using Paint Shop Pro 7 which is what I have always used for making layouts, image modification, button creation e.t.c. When I'm happy with the layout I insert it into Macromedia Dreamweaver MX where I add content, I'm not big on writting my own code for websites so Dreamweaver suites me perfectly. I know enough HTML to be able to modify the code where needed but I do not write it myself.

Q: Isn't Dreamweaver a lazy way to make a website?

A: Yes and no, I lack the patience to learn how to write HTML from scratch and Dreamweaver isn't as easy to use as many people think.

Q: So how do you create your layouts in Paint Shop Pro?

A: I make two seperate images, one for the top of the layout and one for the background. The top image is usually about 780x200 or 300 depending on what resolution I want the site to be. The background image is usually 2000x10 which gets repeated down the page, I make it so long so that no matter what screen resolution people use, they won't get re-appearance of the layout lines.

Q: I've seen an image/content from one of your sites on another site, did you steal it?

A: I search for images to use on my layouts by using googles image search engine and I always give credit where credit is due. All of my content however is my own original work so perhaps they stole it from me.

A: Thank you, I'd love to make a layout/banner/button for you at a fee. Aslong as you know how to use the images and insert them into your website's HTML then I'd be more than happy to provide them for you, just send me an E-mail.
